The creation of CSTR8 Golf Technology happened many years ago, just after the adjustability of a driver became part of the Golf Industry.
Adjustability made total sense. When you teach the game of golf, you are viewing the player and their tendencies.
· Why the player draws or fades a driver.
· Why the same player pushes or pulls their putts.
It’s all the same; IT’S the PLAYER’S VISION. As the golf industry started to revolutionize the performance of the driver, CSTR8 Golf set out to revolutionize the most important club in every player’s bag: the putter.
The last true advancement to the putter came from Karsten Solheim, the creator of the Ping Putter. Karsten used his engineering background to create the standard. Heal- Toe weighting. This allows the putter to flow more squarely through the ball. Karsten then addressed the neck, creating an offset to allow the player’s hands to pass the ball before the putter made contact. More than 60 years later, his brilliance still is the starting point on design and performance.
The Player needs to have a putter built for them solely on the standard of the player’s vision. As I continue to share the CSTR8 story, I will share the importance of the “WHY”. Creating a putter from the standpoint of the player’s vision is the Golf-changing moment every player at every level has been chasing.
