CSTR8 Golf Technology - Gripping

Gripping

The last word on the grip is this. Round grips allow the player to perform. This all comes down to the mind, body experience. The brain is getting feedback from the players fingers, and this allows the brain to be calm and let the player perform. It truly is that simple.

To understand how CSTR8 Golf Technology created their round grip, we must look at the design and shaft technology created. Going back to previous post, CSTR8 Golf Technology referred to the overall weight of the putter. This is critical in the development of the grip. The material used by CSTR8 Golf Technology created a challenge due to the material being used by the golf industry. To solve this challenge, CSTR8 Golf Technology new that the answer was in the weight of the grip.

The golf industry was moving away from the standard rubber grip for a two-layer composite grip. This was the answer to the CSTR8 Golf Technology challenge. The material change in the grip allowed CSTR8 Golf Technology to design a grip that would not only provide performance but also create more head weight to the putter. This is the winning formula to influence the golf industry.

CSTR8 Golf Technolgy took the grip one step further. My teaching background provided insight into the final phase of the grip. The bottom hand on the putter controls the putting stroke. Understanding that pressure applied to the grip from one hand over the other hand created inconsistent performance. CSTR8 Golf Technolgy created a grip that is slightly larger in the bottom hand providing less tension on the grip. The result is a putting stroke that flows through the ball.
